Training

WellCare has created several educational resources for providers.

D-SNP Model of Care Training Materials

Health plans are required to provide their Special Need Plans (SNP) provider network with information about their basic model of care. WellCare has created an online training course that is available via our secure provider portal.

Additionally, we have created the following self-study materials that outline basic requirements and frequently asked questions. Once you have reviewed and understand the self-study program, please fax a completed evaluation form to 1-877-338-2979.

Fraud, Waste and Abuse Training

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) requires all delegated and contractual Medicare Part C and Part D providers to complete fraud, waste and abuse (FWA) training. The training is available online (PDF) for WellCare providers.
